In 2005, a competition was launched to motivate each brand to offer an innovative product. It was a low-profile event. 50 people took part in a meeting room.
But the event was a resounding success. The concept was born. It was repeated the following year and the year after that. Every year, more and more people attended. And every year there were more ideas. The amphitheatre was opened up as far as possible. The OIA (Oxylane Innovation Awards) took to the stage: a show with music, lighting and stands, where you could finally see, touch and test the products.
